How to write the Yellow Booklet?

IA Students,

You must be wondering how to write this portion of the yellow booklet.

There are 3 keys to writing an 'A' grade weekly report.

1. More details will score you higher marks.

  • For example, if your job requires you to complete an Airway Bill (AWB), do not just write "Completed AWB".
  • Give details - "Completed an AWB for Qantas Airlines headed for Sydney Australia".
  • Another example, if your job requires you to do up a Purchase Order,  do not just write "Completed Purchase Orders".
  • Give details - "Completed Purchase Orders for Customer XXX for the Samsung Handphone Model S6"

2. Use the 5 Wives and 1 Husband.
  • If you are unsure of what details to write, please ask the 5 Wives and 1 Husband. EXAMPLES below:
  • Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How
  • Who is involved? Who is the customer?
  • What is the job you did? What are the products involved?
  • When was the job completed?
  • Where is the shipment going to?
  • Why do you need to do this?
  • How did you do this?

3. If you are really stuck and cannot figure out how to write, please make your words really BIG. So that when you write, it feels like you are filling in a lot of the space.
